Description:
The Digi-Finisher – a joint development by MBO & Hohner – is a highly flexible system for the production of wire-stitched brochures. The Digi-Finisher enables folding and saddlestitching to take place on one machine in one pass. The combination of these processes can generate enormous time/cost-savings.
The MBO/Hohner DIGI-Finisher is the innovative solution that can take sheets from digital and conventional presses, with the capacity to be controlled intelligently by a barcode. Personalised books of different thicknesses can be produced as the Hohner trimmer adjusts itself to each book's thickness with the data received from the MBO Navigator control system.
The MBO TT530 Buckle-Former-Folder can plow fold 4 page sections, or 8 page sections (1x buckle fold & 1x plow fold), with transfer to the Hohner gathering chain.
The MBO folder is equipped with pile feeder and barcode reading system. The self-learning control system recognises the start and finish of each booklet, pre-printed sections and covers can be added with or without barcode as required.
